By law, any tourism company is also required to display its identification code in all its communication channels: for example, on the website it can always be found at the bottom of the page, but it is also mandatory to include it in all advertising materials. So, if you ever come across brochures without this code, you should not fully trust them; that advertising may be illegal and they may not even have paid the necessary insurance for the protection of their clients.

• Administration insurance is a type of insurance that varies depending on the region and is also known as a surety insurance or bond, since the most advantageous way to provide this coverage is through a surety insurance policy, as the required amounts are usually very high (in Galicia, €100,000). It is an individual guarantee provided for agencies and the region.
• Collective insurance for employees is the type of insurance used to protect the company’s workers and employees. It is governed by a collective agreement.
• Civil liability insurance covers the risks arising from the business activity for any type of incident, such as material, personal, and financial damage. The purpose of having this insurance is to ensure that the company can respond to claims from third parties.

• Because before being employees, founders, and owners of the company, we are first and foremost travelers. We love being able to travel, discover, and explore the world, so we know very well the desires of a traveler.

Although in recent years we have focused mainly on incoming tourism in Galicia, we work all over the world. In fact, we organize numerous group trips across Europe and Morocco. The founders also have experience working as guides in almost all major European cities before starting our company. For example, in Morocco there are not many companies, and especially not many guides who travel frequently from Spain. Our guides are even experts in this country, which is not easy to manage in terms of tourism.

Galicia Travels mainly focuses on group trips, because our philosophy is that travel should be as affordable as possible, so that everyone can travel, enjoy the art of being a tourist, and discover the world, always allowing culture to accompany us. This does not mean that we only work with groups; in fact, for activities in Santiago and along the Camino de Santiago, you do not need to be part of a group.
