Why visit Finisterre?

Finisterre (or Fisterra, in Galician) is one of Galicia’s most iconic destinations and a place steeped in symbolism. Known to many pilgrims as the final destination of the Camino de Santiago, its name comes from the Latin Finis Terrae, meaning “end of the earth,” as the Romans believed that nothing existed beyond this cape.

What a magnificent day. Ash, the guide, was informative. The stops were all well timed and we had a super day. I would definately recommend this trip.

  40. Maria Divid

If you book these guys via TripAdvisor, be careful: I booked the tour to Finisterre which they cancelled the day before without notifying me. Had to wait 25 minutes at the entrance to their office before someone appeared telling me the cancellation was sent the day before via Viator. I double-checked my email where I received the initial booking confirmation – nothing. I have some sympathy for them given these difficult times, but still it’s not so hard to send an email or at least be at your office at 10 – the official opening time – and not 10.20, in case there’s someone waiting.

  41. Özbek Yiğidi
